Hi I have not used a fountain pen for some 40 years and am interested in trying again. I recently purchased a Chinese $6 el cheapo on Ebay to get me started, but have not received it yet. What are the shortcomings with these cheapies compared to the more expensive pens? Are they everyday usuable without messy ink hassles? In anticipation, thanking you kindly, for any guidance.
